Adventure Island is a magical world that features hundreds of interactive activities, stories, songs, quizzes and games for your child.
These play-based activities teach, assess and report on a range of skills and concepts such as: word building, story writing, number sentences, sorting, grouping, listening comprehension, word and number recognition, patterning, sequencing, initial letter sounds, counting, prepositions, rhyme, word families, opposites, visual discrimination, cards and matching words.
The interactive learning objects are presented in a theme based learning world. The nine themes include:

The Adventure Island Unit Themes
The nine themed units present the learning activities in a colourful dashboard. The eBook is the first activity in the top left corner and the karaoke song is presented in the bottom right corner. The other learning activities are presented between the eBook and the song.
The song consolidates the words and concepts learnt in the unit
The activities present a key concept or skill that is part of the learning objective of the unit.
